SNUBA is a form of introductory diving that allows people with no training to experience what it is like to breathe underwater like a scuba diver. Your snuba activity takes places near the shore of Playa Matapalo, Guanacaste.
SNUBA combines what is easy about snorkeling with the experience of breathing underwater like scuba, and does so in a controlled, relatively safe manner. You breathe through a simple to use regulator while your air supply floats on a comforting support raft at the surface. Enjoy at any depth–– surface, 2 feet, 10 feet, 20 feet… SNUBA is experienced at your own level of comfort, and your SNUBA Guide will be with you throughout the entire tour.
The instructor or Dive Master will begin with a brief explanation to adapt better to the regulator that supplies oxygen during this activity. After this short explanation you will begin your adventure by leaving the dive center to go to the local dive point, traveling by boat. You will only have to enjoy the experience.
Your guide will inform you when it is time to go back to the dive center when your adventure for the day ends.
