8:30am - ISKCON Temple

10am - Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple)
Visit Delhi’s Bahai temple which is a wonderful place to enjoy silence – a rare experience in Delhi. Styled after a lotus flower it features 27 immaculate white-marble petals. This temple was created to bring faiths together, and visitors are invited to pray or meditate silently according to their own beliefs.

11am - Chhatarpur Temple
See India’s second largest temple which was dedicated to the goddess Katyayani. Garnished with dozens of shrines and South Indian Gopurams (temple towers), and an enormous statue of Hanuman that is standing guard over the compound.

12pm - Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Admire Gurudwara Bangla Sahib golden domes. This handsome white-marbled Gurdwara was constructed at the site where the eighth Sikh Guru, Harkrishan Dev stayed before his death in 1664. Despite his youth the six-year-old guru tended to victims of cholera and the smallpox epidemic. The waters of the Gurdwara Tank are rumored to have healing powers. Sikh pilgrims flock here, and their devotional songs waft over the compound adding to its ambiance.

1:30pm - Lunch Break
Eat lunch at one of the best local restaurants in the area (at your own expense).

3pm - Akshardham Temple (Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple)
Next, visit the Hindu Swaminarayan ostentatious Akshardham Temple. This temple draws elements from traditional Orissan, Gujarati, Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Surrounding this spiritual showpiece is a series of amusement park like exhibitions. Including a boat ride through 10,000 years of Indian history explained to you by animatronic, along with musical fountains. The interior offers an almost psychedelic journey through Hindu mythology with 20,000 carved deities, saints and mythical beings.
