Suggested self-guided routes
(If you prefer, you're welcome to join one of our guided tours)

St Ives from Carbis Bay
The popular fishing town of St Ives is a must on any trip to Cornwall. Once an industrial hub St Ives is popular destination with iconic views over the harbor, it is the inspiration for many resident artists. Beat the crowds and parking issues by arriving by SUP from Carbis Bay. Set off into the tranquil almost effervescent turquoise waters from the golden sands of Carbis Bay and end in St Ives with a pint at the famous Sloop Inn and travel back by train.

Fal River - Trevissick Garden to the Pandora Inn
The River Fal's tributaries and creeks were once the lifeblood of mid Cornwall and the city of Truro, allowing the transport of goods in and out of the county. There is so much to see on this trip including Tolverne Cottage - a starting point for thousands on the D-Day Landings, a historic quay, passing ruins of a medieval fort, the Tregothnan Estate, oyster farms and the King Harry Ferry, all while observing the bird life and the abundance of fish. Conclude the trip on the private jetty of the Pandora Inn, a thatched 13th-century Inn.

Falmouth Bay - Maenporth to the Helford
Start at the sheltered Cove of Maenporth and head west passing rocky outcrops which recently shipwrecked the Ben Asdale, whose remains can be seen at low tide. There are secluded beaches and crystal clear waters for snorkeling, all in the stunning backdrop of Falmouth Bay, where there's always something of interest floating by, such as tall ships or vintage racing yachts. Head into the Helford River for a complete change of feel pass the National Trusts Glendurgan Gardens and Trebah Gardens or pull up on the beach for an ice cream.

You can undertake return journeys or use the winds and tides to cover more distance and you will receive details of the water taxi or land taxi.

There are countless options and you're free to just find a spot you love and mess about in the water. You are supported to tailor your plans, ensuring you maximize your enjoyment. The kit is collected at the end of your hire period and we love to hear all about your experiences.

Delivery is free within mid Cornwall, Newquay, Crantock, Perranporth, St Agnes, Porthtowan, Portreath and Truro areas. There may be a small fee outside these areas or a meeting point can be arranged.
