Are you interested in taking part in a day trip that includes a lot of “Scotland” in one go? This is the tour for you since it features Stirling Castle, The beautiful scenery of the Trossachs, the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond and to top it off a tour of a Whisky Distillery (children welcome). Visit Scotland’s heartlands on our day tour of Stirling, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs and a “wee” Whisky Tour at the Auchentoshan Distillery where children are welcome. Basque in the history which includes William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots, Rob Roy Macgregor and so much more whilst enjoying the breathtaking scenery all around.

We meet in Glasgow and hope to leave at 9am sharp to get our small group tour underway, our first stop is Stirling castle.

After the castle we will make way for Loch Lomond making a stop along the way at Callander and the Trossachs Park, this adds 45 minutes to the journey time. A real treat for the tour is something that can only be experienced with small groups and that is the Falls of Falloch; a beautiful waterfall where Rob Roy used to frequent. We stay at the Waterfall for about 10 minutes to allow photographs and a welcome leg stretch.

We then make our way for the Drovers Inn where you can enjoy a classic Scottish lunch and use the facilities (not included). The Drovers Inn has not changed much since being built in 1705 and is a favorite on the tour.

Finally we make our return journey for Glasgow stopping at Inveruglas which has the best views of Loch Lomond and then on to the Auchentoshan Whisky Distillery for a 1 hour tour. The Distillery is situated in Clydebank, approximately 30 minutes from Glasgow.

In Glasgow, we will say our goodbyes, and hope that you return to Scotland soon.
