Visit the Beauty on Water's most famous sites, learn about its culinary history and taste some of the famous Swedish classics!Stockholm highlights for Foodies is an afternoon tour that will bring you to Stockholm's most popular sites such as the Old Town, the young and hip Södermalm Island, the elegant Östermalm and the stunning nature of Djurgården Island, center of world's first National Urban Park called "Ekoparken" while giving you a rich taste of Sweden and Scandinavian culinary history.
During the tour I will talk you through the history, the art and the modern Swedish way of life with a particular focus on the old and modern Swedish culinary traditions. We will stop in a traditional restaurant for a small taste of Swedish classic dishes such as Gravad Lax, Skagenröra, Köttbullar or Pickled Herrings (just to mentions a few!) and end the tour at a local classic Stockholm bar to absorb some of the most genuine local atmosphere!
