One of the best times to experience the high alpine desert known as the Royal Gorge Region is in late afternoon, when the shadows grow long and the unique desert geology and fauna radiate bright reds and greens under the deep blue sky. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture all the stunning images as your jeep travels through canyons and arroyos on the way to the top of Fremont Peak. With Colorado Jeep Tours’ exclusive motorized access, you’ll experience the beauty of the World famous Royal Gorge, from the Rim Road on the way to the top of Fremont Peak where you will be able to gaze out over the Eastern Plains, back to the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range, and down into the 1200 foot abyss, we call the Royal Gorge. From the top of Fremont Peak you will see over 5000 square miles of Colorado splendor and beauty.

Dinner will be Chef Beau’s famous hardwood smoked BBQ Brisket and Pork Dinner. Chef Beau’s smoked brisket, pork BBQ and sausage links are out of this world, served with all the fix’ins: fresh coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, and Southern banana pudding just like Momma use to make. Fountain drinks, iced tea, water, and coffee are included but beer, wine, and drinks from the bar are extra.
