Paddle out, sit on your surfboard, and wait for just the right moment to chase after your maiden ride. When it comes, kick into action and position your board in the frothy path of the curling water. Feel the satisfaction of getting up on your first wave and riding it toward shore.
After cruising on a few smaller waves, try to grab a bigger one while your guide gives you feedback and instructions on how to enhance your skills.
After a convenient hotel pick-up, begin your session with a land briefing, where your teacher provides you with safety information, tips and techniques before you take your board into the ocean. The goal is to stand up on your own! Can you do it?
