Visit the vineyard and the winery with tasting of 3 Etna DOC wines (red, white and rosé). It is possible to integrate the tasting with other selected wine from the cellar (list prices).An ancient millstone at the foot of the Mt Etna, which belongs to the Castiglione di Sicilia Municipality and the fraction of Rovittello, has undergone a patient restructuring and recovery by the Fischetti family, whose aim is to restore the old charm. The enclosed vineyard is situated around 2100 feet (650 m) above sea level. The traditional sapling plantation allows the exclusive manual workmanship throughout the year.
The vineyard is composed exclusively by indigenous vines of Mt Etna; the vines are 80 years old on average and have numerous ultra centennial characteristics of the pre-phylloxera period; these are the roots for the Etna’s DOC production (high quality wines). The family strives to represent the taste and the quality derived from one of the most beautiful territories in the world, which is, since 2013, a worldwide UNESCO heritage. The mission is to extract the best of what nature offers, and having an important experience in the field of Etna DOC, the aim is to offer you something to remember and not just a mere momentary pleasure; but rather an authentic and proper fragment of an admirable volcano.
