This is a guided walking tour that gives you the chance to discover the real and simple Sicilian life in a timeless reality.
The street food and market experience is a guided walking tour through the typical city market.
You meet the local guide in Trapani and then you move to the city market by bus in few minutes. You will walk between stands and peddles, listening to traditional merchants’ “vuciate” (shouts) to attract potential customers. The mixture of colours, smells and noises of this timeless place will surprise you.
During the tour, the local guide will offer you some tastings of typical cheeses made from sheep's milk, uncountable varieties of olives (greens, blacks, stuffed or seasoned olives - for example) and fried delights such as “Panella” (a typical Sicilian snack made with chickpea flour) and "Crocchette", croquettes (potato-based). Taste them in a sandwich!
