Visit the Inscription Rock, the Closed Canyon, El Hemedat and more.The Sinai has probably of the most attractive landscapes in the world if you consider the dynamic interaction between rocks and desert climate. With the different rocks that we find here and the extreme climate, the wind and the weather have created a spectacular and alternating landscape. A beautiful example of this are the canyons, deep narrow cleaves in a further relatively flat area.
In White Canyon you find here too fossil shells, and you encounter the most capriciously formed rocks. The entry of the canyon is the most difficult part. Helped by a metal staircase for the most cumbersome part, you must climb further considerable over the rocks to end up on the floor of the canyon. The effort will be rewarded with a relatively simple walk concerning the white sand floor. The canyon swings itself through the landscape (also from above splendidly to see), and end up eventually at the oasis of Ain Khudra.
