Please note: Rental is priced per boat, up to 6 peopleStart your self-drive experience on the protected waters of Howe Sound. This is when the time of your rental and your adventure begins. While out on the waters, you can chart your own course. There are over 22 islands within the boundaries and from the southern portion of this boundary, you can see downtown Vancouver from the waters perspective. A truly stunning sight.
All required safety equipment is provided. Life jackets are included and life jackets that can accommodate children from 20lbs right up to adults. All the boats carry enough fuel for up to 4 hours in duration and it is included in the rental.
Upon return to the marina, one of the dock instruction staff will assist you with docking your boat and the check-in counter will complete your rental.
When you check-in for your self-drive boat rental, please bring an id and credit card for a pre-authorization of $500, which is returned upon the completion of the rental. After the paperwork is filled out (~10 minutes), you'll be guided through all the required safety instruction. Your local operator offers maps and suggestions for your trip based on the time you have available. Once everything has been reviewed (~ 10 minutes), you will receive a temporary permit to operate the boat for the duration of your trip.
