In the afternoon, guided visit of the fantastic Ducal Palace, residence where Portuguese King Dom Carlos spent the last night before he was assassinated with his son in Lisbon. At the end of the afternoon we will start a rather interesting visit to the marble world, where you will be descending to an underground quarry, contemplating of one of the most fascinating landscapes of Alentejo (on the top of a quarry), seeing the application of marble on monuments and afterwards, have a great Alentejo meal in the best restaurant of the village. Free lunch, dinner included. The tour ends after dinner.
