The project is designed as a cross-section of events in the city of Zadar ranging from war devastation, years of terror and suffering up to winning the title of the best European destination in 2016.
During the war the city of Zadar was constantly and continually bombarded and attacked from all sides. This tour aims at presenting the places where the greatest battles took place. The visitors will be taken around the places that look like as if they had got out of war yesterday and where the Veterans of the Homeland War will retell real stories about the actions and battles that really took place there. Adventure tours play with the emotions of visitors and show them the urban side of Zadar and the rural hinterland, as well as the natural and cultural beauty of this zone, which is permeated by the signs of war and by the glory of the locals and who took part in the victory and are still living there.
The excursion is ideal for those who want to discover the country they visit and the local population with their real lives and experiences. These are tragic stories of the people who had to leave homes and all their possessions, who have lost their family members and friends, who have memories of the glorious victory, but who also work hard in order to create the future for their children.
