Take a visit to Ausrine's Arts Room in Evanston. Here you will take a private tour lead by the artist and owner herself and then you will create your own art piece.When you arrive at Ausrine's Arts Room you will be welcomed by the artist and gallery owner Ausrine Kerr.
First enjoy a private tour of the studio and gallery.
Ausrine will then show you fiber art, works on paper, leather and explain the methods and answer your questions. Next you will become an art student. You will be provided with the space to work in the studio and all the materials and tools . You will learn about wet felting process, different wool fibers, Nuno felting ( laminating wool on silk).
During 3 hours of the hands on workshop period you will get the chance to create your own 2D or 3D felted art piece.
Free snacks will be provided.
