This tour will allow you to encounter whale sharks, the largest fish on the planet. They can grow up to 15 meters in length. The whale sharks prefer warm water surface in those areas where there are outbreaks of colder rich-nutrient water,these conditions favor the growth of plankton on which they feed. This is one reason why there are so many whale sharks in the waters between Holbox and Isla Mujeres in summer. They are often seen with schools of jacks and stingrays.After spotting a whale shark, you will start the tour and have the opportunity to snorkel into the water with it (weather permitting) for a meeting with the fauna that few people can experience. The habitat of the majestic whale shark is found in tropical and warm oceans temperatures. It quietly moves through the crystal clear waters along the Yucatan coast during the summer months, feeding on microscopic plankton that are in this environment.

Later, you have time for lunch, to relax on the coast of Isla Mujeres in North Beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Watch for dolphins and manta rays while enjoying the warm, turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Departure varies and starts from 7am from your hotel in Cancun to get to Punta Sam pier at 8:30am. The tour has a duration of 5 to 6 hours.
