Full day tour to enjoy eco-tourism in Praia do Forte from Salvador.
The tour includes whale watching and turtle visit with specialized biologist working for preservation.Our driver will pick you up at your centrally located hotel at 7:30am. We will drive to Praia do Forte on a air conditioned car.
At 9am we go to the Jubarte Institute to assist a conference about Whales and their protection.
At 10am we will board a schooner, where the captain and your English spoken guide and biologist will give security and watching experience explanations.
We will be looking for the whales and will stay here between 1.5 to 3 hours trying to see their best jumps! With 99% chances of seeing them, more than twenty thousand whales pass every year in Bahia.
Get ready to see 16 meters whales which are sometimes accompanied by their babes.
The singing of the whales, the male whales jumping over the water to seduce the female whales is an incredible experience that you will not forget.
You will have plenty of time to take pictures.
Then we come back to Praia do Forte beach.
where you can have lunch.
After lunch we relax on the beach or visit the small village.
At 3pm we will get ready to go the the Turtle Project Center (Projeto Tamar) where a biologist will explain about sea turtle and you can see different kinds of life turtles.
4pm will be the time for shark feeding! Are you ready for this?
At 4:30 we will go back to Salvador where we will drop you off at your hotel at around 6:30pm.
