Museum is located about 65 kilometres West from Krakow. After 1,5 hour drive you will be there to begin your 3-hours trip.
First, you will visit Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II. Entrance the Auschwitz I trough the gate inscribed with " Arbeit mach frei".
Visitors can see some surviving barracks and the ruins of gas chambers and crematoria.
The second part of the camp occupied the present district of Brzezinka (Birkenau). You can see there the crematoria, gas chambers, ramp, wooden and brick barracks. At the end is located Monument of Victims of Fascism.
