Day 1. Welcome to Romania!
Today we welcome you in Romania! Our licensed guide will pick you up from Bucharest airport and bring you to your hotel in Bucharest. The rest of the day is free.

Day 2. Beautiful Castles and Count Dracula’s Legend
In the morning we will visit Peles Castle, probably the most beautiful castle in the entire country, built by the first Romanian king.
Later we will arrive in Bran village and visit here the famous Dracula Castle. Here we will hear numerous legends about the mysterious vampire. Next we will visit the Saxon city Brasov. This is the perfect example of Saxon medieval settlement typical for Transylvania.
Accommodation and dinner follows in Brasov.

Day 3. Wild Life and Saxon settlements
This is a day to discover the true beauty of the Carpathians: their wild life.
In the morning we will visit Liberty Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti, a great place for traveller to see brown bears in Romania in a half-wild environment.
By midday, we will arrive in Rasnov village nearby and visit the spectacular Rasnov Citadel.
We will end the day in Brasov.

Day 4. Village life and Europe’s last inhabited citadel
Today we discover the beauties of Transylvania!
In the morning we visit an impressive defensive church in Harman Village.
On we go to Sighisoara citadel. This is one of Romania’s most beautiful cities and the last medieval citadel still inhabited form Eastern Europe.
Next we arrive in Visci village, one of the most beautiful and authentic villages in Transylvania. We will visit the old church and enjoy a cart ride in the area.
In the afternoon we will return in Brasov.

Day 5. Beautiful Carpathians and Europe’s Capital of Culture
Today we head towards Fagaras city and visit the strong medieval burg, built here centuries ago.
Next we arrive in Sibiu, truly a beautiful city and the “European capital of culture” in 2007.
In the evening we will enjoy a traditional dinner with local people in a small rustic home.

Day 6. Strongholds and a mighty castle
Today we will visit the breath-taking Alba Lulia Citadel, the historical place where all Romanian regions where united.
Later we will see Hunyad Castle in Hunedoara, a Gothic construction with a impressive history.
In the afternoon we arrive back in Sibiu.

Day 7. Monasteries in Wallachia
Today we will cross the Carpathians to get back to Wallachia, and visit two beautiful orthodox churches: Cozia and Curtea de Arges.
In the afternoon we arrive in the capital Bucharest and enjoy a great farewell folklore party!

Day 8. Amazing Bucharest
Today we will enjoy a guided tour of the Romanian capital and biggest city – Bucharest. We will see the charming Victoria Alley, Revolution Square, Union Square, Parliament Palace and many more. After this, we will drive you to the airport and say goodbye at the end of a great trip!
