Your 8-hour adventure starts with a light lunch made with wild edibles. You will then learn about which plants and mushrooms are in season, what to look for, and then you will go out to do some picking. You'll also visit a nordic nut farm and then top the day off at a famous four star restaurant owned by a famous female chef and a fourth generation forager!

Your 8-hour adventure starts with a light lunch made with wild edibles. You will then learn about which plants and mushrooms are in season, what to look for, and then you will go out to do some picking. From the meeting point in Montreal, board a chartered bus and head north of Montreal to Jardin des Noix, where you'll learn about and forage for Nordic nuts on Yvan Perreault farm and wilderness. Dine on a lunch made of wild edibles and tour the farm and area. Perrault is the president of the Cercle des Ceuilleurs, a respected foraging group in Quebec.

You'll then head to Les Jardins Sauvages, a destination fine dining restaurant in Val-David, for an elaborate tasting menu and wine pairings using wild, foraged products. The bus then brings you back to the original meeting point in Montreal.

Overall, this 8-hour tour includes a light lunch made with foraged wild edibles, a course on foraging and the plants and mushrooms currently in season, a trip into the forest to do some foraging, a visit to a nordic nut farm which grows species indigenous to Quebec and Ontario, and lastly, a deluxe dinner in a four-star restaurant with two glasses of wine. Transportation is provided and the total driving time is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
