We drive from Egilsstaðir along the lake Lagarfljót (Monster Lake) through Hallormsstaður forest. Before the hike we stop at the Wilderness Center in Fljótsdalur valley just next to the hiking trail. We follow a marked trail up the valley witch leads us to our destination. Enjoy the magical landscape and waterfalls on our way.
The hike ends in Laugarfell highland hostel where we can relax in the natural warm pools.They say the water in the nature pools has healing power. On our way back we drive to Egilsstaðir, where the trip ends.
