A huge day out combining walking, wildlife and sightseeing. See the stunning Wineglass Bay, explore Freycinet National Park, experience a Tasmanian Devil feeding and visit the gorgeous Ross Village all in one fantastic day.Wineglass Bay has been voted many times amongst the top beaches of the world. A perfect crescent shape, stunning colors and dazzling white sand make this one of Tasmania’s “not to be missed” locations. Wineglass Bay is nestled in the Freycinet National Park on the East Coast of Tasmania. One of Tasmania’s first National Parks this is a coastal area rich in stunning landscapes. Pink granite mountains form the backdrop for secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife and walking trails.

Travel from Launceston, first to the delightful coastal town of Bicheno and visit the East Coast Nature World home to many local animals – the wildlife park enjoys a gorgeous back drop of white sands, sparkling blue ocean and native forest. This tour is timed perfectly to experience a Tasmanian Devil feeding and a chance to meet and pat the local wombat. Walk around and discover the native animals including wallabies, emus, quolls, snakes and the secret delights of Nocturnal World.

A short drive further south, you reach the beautiful Freycinet National Park with 3 to 4-hours to explore. Walk as a group to the Wineglass Bay Lookout where your guide will help you take those sought after photographs. Discover more of the National Park and visit Honeymoon Bay and Cape Tourville lookout and short walk.

Return to Launceston via the picturesque and historic village of Ross, just off the Midland Highway - home to the famous Ross Bakery and Kiki’s Kitchen. A great chance to sample one of Tasmania’s scallop pies!
