The tour includes the visit of the Chateau, the wine-making workshop and a wine tasting of one of the Grand Cru of Château Pape Clément. The entire visit is animated by the wine cellar master of the Chateau, who is always happy to share the most amazing secrets of the site.

This 2-hour tour will give you the opportunity of discovering Chateau Pape Clément, Grand Cru Classé de Graves winery and vineyards, and creating your own wine bottle to take home through an unforgettable wine-making experience. The tour includes the visit of the Chateau, the wine-making workshop and a wine tasting of one of the Grand Cru of Château Pape Clément. The entire visit is animated by the wine cellar master of the Chateau, who is always happy to share the most amazing secrets of the site.Starting in the morning or in the afternoon, you will first visit the Chateau Pape Clément, which includes an historical presentation of its vineyard, its barrel cellar and its vault. The tour begins in the gardens, where you will hear about the illustrious history of the Chateau Pape Clément. You will then visit the vineyard and discover the impressive wooden vat room and wine storehouse, before moving on to the cellar, which conceals a chapel, the recumbent effigy of Pope Clement V and very old vintages of our Grand Cru Classé. The Wine cellar master will make you discover the most exiting secrets of the Château, including the story of Pope Clement V.
Then, you will learn the secrets of the wine-making process, from the vineyard to the bottle labeling. Enjoy an introduction to the characteristics of the local cépages. The wine cellar master will make you differentiate the flavors and colors of each cépage, and also blind test them.
Now, it is time to create and taste your own wine assemblies. Choose the one you like the most between the options available: Chateau La Tour Carnet or Chateau Pape Clement wine blend, and take it home in a personal souvenir bottle. During the workshop you will have to create 9 different combinations of your own, in order to taste and determine your favorite assembly. Once you have it, personalize your own label and finishing up your personal souvenir bottle.
At the end of the workshop, taste one of Bernard Magrez's Grand Cru Classé during a wine tasting commented by the cellar master of the Château.
