Forests account for about 30% of the area, together with lakes and swamps it was the perfect place to set up inaccessible complex of bunkers.
After meeting your driver and guide, the drive to Wolf's Lair will take approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, the tour will not only focus on bunkers alone but allow you to experience Masuria's nature, local food and architecture.

Enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour of the area focusing on the Wolf's Lair. During the tour, you'll take a lunch break (meal at own expense) in the local canteen. After the tour, you'll drive back to Warsaw. Total duration of this tour is approximately 11 hours.
Extended Tour:
This Extended Tour allows you to experience the Mazury area and Wolf's Lair in-depth which is full of interesting spots. At Wolf's Lair, visit Zone I with local guide and Zone II with a replica German armoured transporter. You will also see the bunkers of the Mamerki Wehrmacht headquarters which luckily were not blown up like that of Hitlers. As an extra bonus, your guide will show you the mysterious and abandoned construction of a sluice which was about to become part of the Nazi-built Mazury canal. The Nazi sluice system was built for connecting the Mazurian Lakes with the Baltic Sea. Lunch and dinner are included. Total duration of this tour is approximately 16 hours.
