The bike craft tour will take you on a journey through time! Experience old traditional manufacturing workshops and artisan producers in Zagreb. During the tour we'll visit shoemaker, original handmade leather works, artisan jewelry maker, etc.
Living your job and doing it for generations would be the best introductory of this bike craft tour. Oldest bakery in Zagreb, running all the way from 1925 in it's third generation, still using wood as a material to fuel their ovens, is one of our stops. Seeing how the bread is produced in traditional way, using old sorts of flower.
We are visiting 6-7 stops from artisan jewelry maker third generation in it's family to young coffee aficionado's where they roast specialty coffee and making their own blends. All of the artisan jewelry is designed in house, by young Croatian sculptors, but they can also produce something unique you just need to provide some idea and bring a tiny bit of imagination.
We'll also take a visit to handmade leather works, family owned business, where the smell of Croatian leather (all of the materials are supplied locally) will nicely meet you when you enter their store/production/design facility.
Two of the oldest sea salt field productions in Europe are both placed in Croatia. If you're fan of cooking then flower of salt with 70 % dark chocolate is what you can try while pedaling on our craft tour. Tour will end with the coffee break in specialty coffee place (coffee is included in the price of the tour) where we can sample some of the bagels we got at the oldest bakery in Zagreb.
